I'm looking to host a few small, relatively low-traffic sites. None of the sites is especially downtime-sensitive, but I do rely heavily on my email for both business and personal communications (I'm an American ex-pat and email is my primary means of communication with friends/family/clients back home). A few minutes/hours is one thing. Days on end quite another.

Of particular interest to me is how responsive/communicative they are. I understand that in my price range ($10-20/mo.) I'm not going to get 99.999% uptime. That's fine. What I don't want, however, is to be waiting 12 hours with no email and no response from support. Nor do I want scheduled maintenance to take my site/email down without warning.
