    I am just curious that Why does most dedicated server hosting company not allow their custoemer run ircd ? ircd will blow up thier server ?

    a Denial of Service attack can also be abusing a buffer overflow vulnerability in your server software causing the server to crash within 10 seconds. Which one is faster?
