This has got to be the worst company in the planet. First I'll start from the beginning. When I signed up with this company they wouldn't set up my account. I had to threaten to sue them for my account to be set up and ready to go. Then their server crashes for 2 months....
For a few months my site would go up and down all the time, and then recently when I tried leaving...I tried to backup my site. It caused their server to crash, so they suspended my account. I told them what happened, and they unsuspended my account.
Then they let me try once more, but again it crashed so they told me they would charge me $50.00 to backup my data for me. I told them no because I was capable of doing it myself if their server would just stop crashing. Then, they let me try once more, and it crashed yet again. So they suspended my account and assesed a penalty fee against me because the server crashed.
But they are the ones that gave me permission to try once more, so I shouldn't have to pay for it..Then they told me because of what I did; two of their customers left. BULL CRAP! People don't leave if the server goes down for 15 minutes...Also each time the backup happened it was between 2am-7am. Not many people watch over their sites during this time.
So now they are refusing to reactivate my account because I won't pay them $30.00. If you all want I can copy and paste the e-mails they have been sending me. It's absolutely ridiculous because I have the right to backup my site. They claim to have the best servers, but the servers can't seem to handle backing up 1.7gb of data? SUUUURE!
Again, please stay away from Iexpresshost.com, read the other information posted on this site about them. Wish I knew about this place before I signed up with them. I will keep you all informed on what happens. Since they have violated the tos agreement, I probably will have to take them to court about all of this, and get my money back...
Well after a few e-mails back and forth, they unsuspended my account temporarily so I can d/l my neccesary small files. One of the techs said I was "lucky" to have such a nice admin. He was not being nice, he was being professional, because I doubt he wanted to be sued. As soon as I finish d/l these files, I am leaving. Good riddance!!!!
We have answered all of your e-mails and explained the situation to you promptly.
1. You decided to move to another hosting company. It's fine.
2. You wanted to backup and download your data. It's also fine.
3. You crashed our server twice and we lost 2 new customers due to the downtime you caused. It's not fine anymore.
4. Our tech suspended your account due to crashing and abusing our server.
5. You asked us to re-activate your account again so you can download your backup and well, we did so.
6. I saw a complaint from you here.

I'm sorry Peter, but I'm not going to backup the whole thing. I'm just going to d/l all the pages from my site, and my v6 folder, which contains pages as well. This would add up to about 3mb. I am not doing anymore 1.7gb backups. I'm just simply going to d/l the pages. That's all I want to do.
Please let me log back into my ftp program so I can d/l pages, and remove all data from your server. I have no money whatsoever. I am still $400.00 behind in rent, that I am still trying to make. I have no job currently, so 30$ is a little much for me right now. I'm sorry you lost $400.00...I really am, but you need to realise that I was just trying to backup my data. I'm sorry it did what it did. But please again, I'm asking you one more time to please let me log back into my ftp program so I can d/l my pages, and remove my stuff. Thankyou!

I have no words to say about you right now but we did what we think is right in your case.

I wasn't trying to crash it at all. I was trying to do a "remote ftp server, passive mode transfer" One time it didn't work, then one time it did somewhat, but it looked like someone stopped the transfer while it was in progress because the file just stopped sending. I didn't get a reason why though. Then I get an e-mail saying it backed it up completely yet, I was still missing about 1.5gb of information. And then when I got the go ahead to try again, it crashed again. Oh well....it's over
Why would you say that you removed it, when you really didn't? You can't say you did because I requested it to be taken off at 03:05 AM and you posted at 02:05 AM, which is longer than the 15 minutes you were allowed to make edits. Again this proves that you and your company lie...

There is no reason why i should lie to you because of this. I was actually trying to remove your last name but it still appears here for some reasons. I went ahead to remove it again and got the error:
"The administrator has specified that you can only edit messages for 15 minutes after you have posted. This limit has expired, so you must contact the administrator to make alterations on your message."
"Again this proves that you and your company lie..."
It doesn't prove anything that i and my company lie to you. By the way, i am not going to argue and wasting my time with you since we have many works to do and many e-mails need to be answered.
The most important thing is we resolved your problem so you should leave us in "peace".
