Question

Is there a way to auction off a domain?

It there a simple process to set up an auction to sell a domain?

I want to auction off one of my domains and have a starting figure.

Is there a service or place to do this?

Does WHT have any sort of informal method for domain auctions?

That does not answer my question at all. I'm perfectly familiar with that thread. I asked - quite specficically - about a "Domain Auction".

Is there anyone else that may be able to respond to the original post - as it's written?

I was considering setting one up informally.

Have a starting price at $20, have people email me with required information with a bid in $5 increments, and have an expiration date.

Again, pointing to that forum, does not answer my question at all. I'm perfectly familiar with that forum. I asked - quite specficically - about a "Domain Auction"; that's NOT an auction.

WHT's Domain Name Offers and Requests IS the best place to do so. There are some other forums out there, but since we are posting here at WHT, as a common courtesy, I don't want to lure traffic AWAY; and frankly, I honestly don't think those other forum mentioned here are any better venue except for 2* that I, being a moderator, am not supposed to name.

EDIT: Sorry, except for 2 (not "one")

(LOL! Sorry to have quoted this out of context)

So that is EXACTLY what you've been asking for. Good luck.
