Question Traffic and space for Forum of 100 or 1,000 or 10,000 users ?

I am wandering is this possible to estimate traffic and server space (memory) which is necessary to run Forum?

    For example Forum of
100 users ? Gb traffic and ? Mb space (memory)
1,000 users ? Gb traffic and ? Mb space (memory)
10,000 users ? Gb traffic and ? Mb space (memory)

I understand that it is not possible to size this exactly.
    Please, give me an idea.

    Thank you.

As you say, it is impossible to estimate it totally. But i think you should use 3-4gb traffic with 1000 active users...

We have a client with about 15000 members and expected to consume about 150 GB next month. But I think you can strip the consumption down by taking away graphics.

I think it mostly matters how many active users you have at one peak time.
