Sorry I did not know about the no bumping rule, etc. and it was closed, So i could not apolgize.
Here is my question:
If i have a domain, and I register name servers and point them to IP addresses, such that
NS1.domain.com = IP
NS2.domain.com = IP
And I set up DNS on my server.
Do, I have to make sure the domain points to NS1.DOMAIN.COM? and ns2.domain.com?
Or can I leave it poitning to ns1.oldhost.com, and ns2.oldhost.com for the time being.
My thing is the NS1. and NS2. are still not prpogating and I did this almost 4 or 5 days ago
I want to keep it pointing to the old host, so that I can make other domains point to ns1.domain.com and ns2.domain.com and move them over to the new server, and move over the domain after the others have succesfully been moved.
I hope this makes sense, if not i can clarify further.
