Jackpothost.com - I'm the only one who can't access?
I'm new here, hello and I hope that someone can help me.
I'm a Jackpothost.com customer and have been very satisfied with their service and support, other than two days of downtime about a month ago, and up until this past weekend.
I was working on a client's site, and it all just "stopped working" so to speak, late Saturday night. Could not get to any sites, not my clients, not my own, and not even the host site itself. I received a message from a client that they too could not reach the site.
Anyway, when I emailed with another customer of theirs, they informed me that they had not experienced any downtime and could access everything, as could a friend of theirs.
In addition, I received an email from the host just a few minutes ago who said they had no knowledge of any server outages or downtime and to check with my ISP.
Okay well first of all, if it were just my ISP then why could others not reach it as well? Even when I went to do a domain lookup for jackpothost.com, it gave me a "lookup failed" message.
Well after being on hold forever, I gave up (with the ISP) ... so I just don't know.
I'm going to forward on to them that there are others not able to view their site.
Their support is great, so I really don't want to switch hosts ... yet if I can get nothing resolved through my ISP I will have no choice, since I have clients who have been put on hold since Saturday, due to my not being able to access anything to work on.
