FRAUD! PayPAl subscription I never knew about, what to do
I have a payment for a site I never heard of in my life!
savelance.com
They charged me $16USD for a 'subscription' i never authorised. Now, I dont know what to do. there is no refund button there
Please advise..0

First cancel the subscription

You had to have authorized it. The only way to start a subscription is to click the subscription button, enter your password, click continue. You receive an email every time the payment is sent on the renewal date and you will also see it in the transaction history summary.

yeah it's usually some affiliate that most people click to register without even knowing etc.

you can't do chargebacks as paypal is not a credit card company. if you try it they freeze/suspend your account

Damn. I emailed the company (savelance.com) about 15 hours ago and still no response. I will give then a few more hours, then contact paypal about a refund...

It was all settled grandly. Our problems were resolved quickly. Honestly, would recommend them now considering the speed and courtesy..

I've known Tim from Saveservers for a long time. He's a good guy who always does the right thing. His signups are automated which means if somebody gets billed it's cause they signed up for something.
Maybe the changed their mind partway through the process but clicked the wrong link. These things happen. A simple email to Tim and he'll sort it out ASAP.0
