I have a column in my table that is an ID that uses auto incriment. When i delete for example the row above it, its ID still stays at the same. but then i get a gap in the ID's like:

Original:
1
2
3
4
5

When Rows 2 + 4 Are Deleted:
1
3
5

But is there away so when you delete multiple rows, all of the rows id's bellow it decrease.
This needs to be set up for mutiple rows deletion:
PHP Code:
$comma implode(',',$ids);
$result "DELETE FROM ".$sql_tbl_prefix."newsletter WHERE id IN ($comma)"
mysql_query($result) or die ("MySQL Error: ".mysql_error());
echo
"Done"
Thanks in advance,
Matt
