the part that bothers me the most is that the jersey's aren't cleanly cut....
need to get rid of that white fuzz surrounding them.
but as for the format.... can't complain much
are you trying to make a tournament table?
if so.... you need to make it so there are only two columns (and not those odd two pairs), and make a bit more space between each pairing

The jerseys look really bad with the white spots.

Agreed, and I'd also try to find a better stock photo of the cup. Right now it looks like you found a bunch of pics online and just arranged them in a graphic.

Yes, cut them out properly - don't use the magicwand!
Also, change the background colour to something more appealing (maybe a navy blue or something similar)
If you can't get the jerseys to cut out properly, try using each teams logo in place of the jerseys.
