SpamAssassin for spam. We used to use it via a SquirrelMail plugin but now it comes bundled with Plesk 7. For AV we use ClamAV. Both are free and there is no limit to what it can handle.

I thought the latest versions of cPanel automatically reject certain incoming attachments like EXE, PIF, SCR, and URL. I know there is a feature to disable it, but I though it was turned on by default.

ya i have the following in /etc/antivirus.exim and it dosent seem to work
    PHP Code:
    ## -----------------------------------------------------------------------
    # Look for .pif, .scr or .exe in files and REMOVE them!
    if $header_content-typematches "(?:file)?name=(\"[^\"]+\\\\.(?:ad[ep]|exe|pif$
    then
    seen finish
    endif
    # same again using unquoted filename [content_type_unquoted_fn_match]
    if
    $header_content-type: matches "(?:file)?name=(\\\\S+\\\\.(?:ad[ep]|exe|pif|s$
    then
    seen finish
    endif

Blocking certain file extensions is no substitution for a decent anti-virus filter.
