    Requiem for a dream

I recently saw the movie Requiem for a Dream - it's about four characters and their struggles with their inner dreams. They each have something inside that they long for.

The movie itself blew me away. I think the actual filming was fantastic, and the acting was not bad at all either.

    Has anyone else seen it?

Yeah, i love that movie, it's top notch. The cinematography is excellent as well, soo sad and very enlightening.

Not to compare it to Requim, but did you guys like Pi? I thought that was great too.

    Very old movie.

I'm not really into druggy movies, but the movie did have its moments.

I thought the movie kicked ***.. same with the Mrs.

Go! on the other hand.. while somewhat entertaining at times.. I think its a great movie to fall asleep to.

I think Go is on the same par as Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs. How can you say you'd fall asleep watching it?

I am a big fan of all QT movies. I can't wait for the second part of Kill Bill to come out.

I think I might check out Go as both Pulp Fiction and Reservoir dogs were great movies.

I give PF a 10/10 the movie gets better each time i watch it.

RD I give an 8/10. It is a 10 if you consider the budget they made that movie on.

Excellent film - one of my favorites and gets some decent time in the DVD player.

My problem with Pulp Fiction, and in general with QT movies is that they are all pretty much structured in the same way.

A little bit of the past, some present and wait for the future.

I think Pulp Fiction was style over substance, and I believe Kill Bill will be the same way. I haven't seen either one, and I don't intend to either.

His movies are far from being structured the same way. Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, and Kill Bill are all completely different.

The one thing that is the same is he does use things from the past (usually all the good stuff). So, when you watch his movies a few times you start picking up on all these little things from old movies you used to love.

Granted this is all subjective, so people can not like whatever they want. However, a person should at least watch the movies first before they start bagging on them.

Well I've effectively seen half his movies. So I'm not judging out of the blue here.
