Well, we do offer Windows servers, but they cost $40-$70/month more.

Looks like he's a gamer. Maybe he wants to run a game that isn't compatible (or he doesn't think is compatible) with Windows.
Then again, I'm not experienced with running gameservers, so I really wouldn't know.

Precisely, need to run a couple gameservers that have no linux counterpart. Most gameservers do, but this one does not.
