Finance software
Any recommendations on software to track the finances? One person recommended quickbooks. Not sure how good that is.

manage the financial books. The general ledger, payments, receipts and so on. And, yes, the clients also.

Quick books
Microsoft Money
Peachtree Accounting
Money and Quick books are good. They both have small business versions but QB is a little more expensive. Peachtree is a heavy weight and used more for larger businesses.

I am thinking I am going to go with QB. A good deal for 100 bucks.
As for online tracking I plan to build it and integrate it into the site. I wonder if QB has an import option. That could save me from some double entry.Alvin

Simply Accounting is terrific, its easy to use, and they give you a CD tutorial. If you have not taken college Accounting 1A, then I would highly recommend it.
