That's actually quite a nice layout - nice and clean.
- I'd suggest you change the menu on the left side - either to a graphic menu, or at least to verdana or arial fonts.
- For the white space at the top - there's room for a slogan or a notice of some kind ("Reliable hosting starting at $15.00 a month!", or something). Be careful with that, though. The design works because it is clean and uncluttered so you don't want to throw too much in and take away from that.
- The body text should all match in terms of fonts. You have graphics with Arial fonts, but the actual html text is times. I'd pick one or the other and stick with it.
Hey - thanks for all the feedback so far, it seems the fonts are an issue in everyone's book so I'll change those soon - I really do go for clean and minimal designs I'm all about ease of navigation for the customer and I didn't want to be just another clone host (ya know, over use of flash and templates!)

Your page is an html
It's not fake!! As stated below it, it gets updated when there is a problem by a member of staff. Our site is hosted on a seperate server to our clients, we've looked into dynamic updates but don't see the need...
1.side scroll was activated for me(couple of pixels, but still you should fix it)
2.before why us,may be you should stay:what we do..
3.topbar_2.gif should be cleaner, because all the rest are clean and it gives unprofessional feeling. You don't have heavy graphics so 7-9 kb will not make it worse in this case in the matter of loading time, but it will in the matter of look

I appreciate your comments, but I've quoted you above because it confirms my feelings, you expect all hosting sites to be those flashy template clones - that doesn't appeal to everyone, but to you it does. Some people (believe me) just like to see the information laid out cleary in a neat manner not shooting across their screen in a rocket playing a sound or something
