For those of you who don't know, cleveland police patrol Teeside, Redcar and so on in the North east of England.
The force is in debt 7 million £GBP, and has had numerous of un explained incidents.
For example, a few months ago, a prisoner was released from jail, he was then given a loan from the police, which in turn he bought a gun and attempted to rob a bank, he was re arrested and sent to jail, no word on how long his sentence is.
2 years ago, someone was shot by a shotgun in a drive by, about 10 minutes away from my house at preston park, he shooter got 5 years for attempted murder (i think it was illegal gun possession also).
Drug dealers continue to get raided, but gun crime, breaking and entering and other such crime levels continue to go up.
The 7 million the Cleveland Police are in debt for was not explained properly, they babbled their way out of it, with things like "we will investigate where the money has gone", and "our police force needed new equipment".
There has also been numerous police attacking people in the street for no reason and so on, so what are they doing? Someone please explain to me why the government hasn't gotten rid of this force.
EDIT: We also have the highest crime rate in the United Kingdom at the moment.
