Make sure you grabbed version 3 that sends you text messages or e-mails when a server goes down. It's in their forums, hard to find but it's there.
If you still have trouble finding it let me know, I have a copy laying around.

What is the pricing? Looks interesting though
I wonder if there is any script that could list down the uptime as well.

It's free, and it will show the current uptime.

Is the install documentation out of date or did I lose a file somewhere?
The file that needs to be uploaded to the root web directory of the servers being monitored is named server_script.php (according to the installation docs). I cannot find that file in any of the directories.

That explains it, the file posted at the bottom of the forum linked above is:
netstatus_2.0.zip
The version with the server_script.php is:
netstatus_v2.0.zip
Thanks Dave

server_script.php is in both versions as it's the file that you need to run the cron job on, though if i remember it's burried inside a directory somewhere.
If you still can't find it, just create a new file with the line:
PHP Code:echo shell_exec(uptime);

The version posted in the forums has the ability to send alerts to you when services go down. It's missing server_script.php.
No biggie just grab the older version from the main page and take out server_script.php and you are all set. It's a nice script and can be modified but it doesn't keep uptime percentages which would be great.

Yeah sweet script except I had to modify the cron_script because I am on a shared ip.

I was wondering if anyone ran into this problem.
I installed the script just fine to my server and it show the stats of the local just fine. But when I go to add another remote server to the monitor it shows the mysql stat as being down when in fact it isn't. I went to their forum and I saw a number of posts about this but either no reply or no one posted a fix yet. Has anyone figured out how to fix this?

You probably had 3306 blocked to any foreign hosts on the remote server, correct?

Whatever it was, it'd be nice if he shared.
