4000 MB is just shy of 4GB of space. 4GB is an incredible amount of disk space for hosting bascially html/scripts and some images.
Heck 40MB is a lot of space just for images/html.
In your above example if you had 100 clients and charged them just $10 per month then you would be making $1000 per month from a $50 reseller account.
Please do not make the mistake that "the numbers" of diskspace and bandwidth are all reselling is about, or that that is what is going to get you clients. Each one of us find a niche and then start filling the void. That is how to make money in hosting.
A good way to start is go to sell locally, partner with a developer and have them build the websites for your client. Local businesses could care less about how much diskspace and bandwidth your selling.... they just do not know. What they are interested in is having a nice looking website that they can use to extend their marketing. Thats what its all about.
I totally agree with both.
Actually, that's how I planned to start anyway.
Just plain with local bussiness is a good start, and if you sale in person most won't even take much time to compare. Or even better (for us) they'll compare to other local hosting solution which usually are even giving less for the bucks.
