there is a lot of places where you can buy hosting from.... But be careful if you want "the cheapest", because what is cheap today might get you a real headache some time after... Go with companies with reasonable prices.

It depends on what you are trying to learn. In webhosting there are lots of things to learn, from lanuguages to customer service. But firstly before you buy anything you should learn about the different codes and things and also how to create websites.
Not sure exactly what you want but a decent knowledge of general computing is a good starting point.
If you are just starting up I'd suggest that you first get yourself a Reseller account that let's you sell web hosting space to others WITHOUT knowing anything about server administration. For your first customers I would suggest you either try to recruit friends or locals in your area. Start small and after you've figured ou tthe basics think about getting yourself a dedicated server.

dakusingh, I'd suggest you read about and familiarise yourself with some of the common terms in the industry first before going into anything else. Reading around on this forum will give you a good idea if this is something that you are willing to go into for the long haul
i got a paypal and nochex account, paypal verified, so recieving payment aint that bad....... might think of going into worldpay if i ave to .......... i will be going collage but have a lot of spare time on my hands
