How do you administrate your customers?

    Hi there

I want to know how do you handle or administrate all your customers, in the way to know exactly when somebody paid you, how, and all that, I mean for a hosting biz with more than a 200 customers it maybe a litlle hard, do you have any offline software to make the database with all the pay dates?

Or you can do this in excel ?

Pls give me some advice with this.
    thnx
    Dan

There are lots of client managment systems around ranging from free with no integration (phpcoin.com - intended for resellers) to expensive (depending on your budget).

I recently made a similar post, but the ones I can think of off the top of my head are:

    - client exec
    - whmautopilot (which I use)
    - whois.cart
    - modernbill
    - phpmanager

... and there are more but I can't think of them at the moment. Try a search for 'client management system'

I really like clientexec. I'd be in heaven if I found something that integrated with Quickbooks though.

I developed my own system as well. I looked at all the different applications out there and saw things I liked in each, but none that would do exactly what I wanted to be able to do. It all depends on what you plan to offer to your clients, etc. With how competitive hosting is, you need to be able to perform functions quickly and efficiently and have a structure in place to accomodate that.

We use whoiscart. It is very reliable with great technical support and decently priced.
