Hello, I currently run a pretty well established web hosting company but one area we are lacking in is domain registration. Does anyone know any programs out there have have easy to use code that can be implemented into my existing site for domain searching and domain registration upon the order process of our web hosting?
I was looking at wildwestdomains.com which is GoDaddy's bulk reseller, but I don't think it will provide us with everything we'll need.
Basically the way I'm doing it right now is having the customer send an extra $10 and we register the domain name through godaddy manually. I want to make this process more automated. Currently we are using paypal, but we are getting ready to switch to another network such as 2checkout.
Any advice would be greately appreciated, thank you.
Can you list a few. I'm searching the forums and I noticed that Directi has an API. What does API stand for exactly? We currently have our site coded with php/mysql, is that something we can tie into our coding?
What do you guys think of Modernbill + Modernauthorize combo for a web hosting business? These products seem to have their own plug and play code for domain search, domain registration, package selection, invoice management that can all be integrated into the site. Also, when going through this combo, accounts are automatically setup, meaning I won't have to check for the order before it's filled.
I think I found a good combo. Whois.Cart, Directi, and RTGateway. Only $35 setup for all three combined, and only $20/month + cc transactions. Seems like they offer as much or more than modernbill and authorize.net for a fraction of the cost.
We deal with multiple domain registrars in the world.Based on the long experience , when comapring API offered by Directi , Enom, Dotregistrar, Domain People , I find Enom score very high - their API is simple good & efficient .In totality not only in API but everywhere they score very high.
Modernbill is outrageously expensive when you pay $25/month for it with $45/month for cc processing, plus the finance charges that come with my banks merchant accounts. Rip off?
Whois.Cart was my next solution, but it's extremely important that I'm able to have the order form, domain form etc. exactly how I want it to look, and from my understanding, that isn't possible with whois.cart.
So I'm at a loss right now. If anyone knows a great combo for full API customization on the order form, domain search, registration, web hosting check out, cc processing, and domain registration, I beg of you to let me know. Thank you in advance for your replys.
