I'm not too fond of the splash page but I really like the way you organized and the general feel of your index page.
Great job!

I don't like the splash screen either, but everything else looks good.

Agreed, the splash page takes away from what's a great site inside.

I liked the splash page, quite creative. However, I do not think it's necessary. The rest of the site is excellent. Nice work.

The splash screen is really nice, but designers really shouldn't use splashes! It's okay, I made the same mistake already, so you're just learning of experience (which is the best way to go).

Thanks Everyone,
I have taken everyone's advice about the splash page, and in place of it I will put something a little more subtle.
Thanks,

You should definitely lose the splash screen. Nice site...different look than the norm, so it will stand out...in a good way.
I think the small text goes with the look/feel you are going for, but it might be hard for some people to read.

menu
I like it overall - i would lose the spash page though...
The only part I would look at altering is the contrast between the nav menu and the 'angled pics' on either side- it kind of gives the impression that they are all links...

lol... well, the logo isn't too original It's one of the default "custom shapes" that come with ps lol... but once again, there's a splash page... and those are not a good way for most designers to go. Actually, I dont think that a designer should have anything like a splash page Unless of course it is a flash site, and the splash is just a loading screen :p

Hey Tripixels,
I just wanted to let you know, that the logo your reffering to is not a logo. It is just a design I put on there for people click on to enter the site. So dont worry mate, its not a logo, if I were going to make a logo it wouldn't be from the custom brushes in PS.
Thanks,

Why do you insist on having this extra step to enter your site?

Hey nice site. However I think you should do a little something to the navigation.. maybe rollovers? It looks pretty cluttered in that area, but other than that- great job.
