Browse content in directory - Linux
I want to make all files visible in a directory I have named "files" via a web browser. Can I do this on a single directory? I don't want it on the whole server...
On Windows they call this "Browse files".
On Linux you get this message if you don't have a index file:
You don't have permission to access /files/ on this server.
My server is Linux 7.3 server with Ensim Pro.
might have to do with options indexes, check httpd.apache.org if your linux box runs apache.

Thank you in advance!
then you would set it in the .htaccess file for that site only, or within a directory tag in your httpd.conf
What should I write if when I just want it on a singel directory (it's OK if subdirectories under this can be browsed).
Thank you in advance.
Thank you. I'm sorry to ask, but where should I write it?
Thank you once again!
