    Very Simple Question about WHM

    How do i take a one-off back-up. I just want to download the file.

    You can download it from the account's cpanel or via shell.
    There is no best host. There is only the host that's best for you.

    I want to take a full system back-up of everyones accounts and all settings.

    How do i do this?

    If you have root access, you can type this over SSH:

    /scripts/pkgacct2 username

    Obviously, replace username with the actual username. That will generate /home/cpmove-username.tar.gz . If you ever need to restore it, just upload it to /home & restore it through WHM (or by typing "/scripts/restorepkg username" over SSH after you upload the file).

    For a full backup, log into WHM & go down to the backups section, you can do backups there.

    Full backup can be done via cPanel. It will be stored in user home directory.

    There must be a way of backing up everything! No host could be expected to back-up there clients individualy
