    Sorry IDS . had the same problem with some of the other computers in the office here. some work some dont. Maybe some one else that knows about things like this can help you


    also, if anyone knows other cool stuff like this post a link. I love emailing the rest of staff with this junk..LOL

    I wonder if the people that make these stupid things realize some people store their computers in cabinets. I'm curious how many CD trays get f'ed up due to slamming into the back of a cabinet door. Nice prank I'm sure.

    One of the reasons I don't store my PC that way.

    Haha, I don't need anyone to 'help' me. I'm quite aware of what happens (messed up a cd while it was burning in the CD-R drive )

    I'm glad it has no effect on this PC i'm on

    Oh yeah i remeber this.. I actually used the cup holder too.. Luckily not too much condensation got on the tray.

    I always wonder about the people who have the pizza box computers (the ones that lay horizontal and you sit your monitor on top of)...

    I have seen them sit cans of pop in front of the tray and stuff like that... i could only imagine what would happen should they hit this... haha

    Most drives are designed so that some pushing won't damage them. Thus the reason you can push your drive closed...
