Question

pure-ftpd error

Hello,

I got an error with Pure-Fptd, it seems after a UPCP (CPanel Update) and doing a UP2DATEe -U (Update in RPM), after an OPENSSL upgrade, the authentication in Pure-Ftpd stop working, and no one can log in the server trough FTP Server.

Other erros comes in /var/log/messages:

Mar 18 23:30:09 bhnoc stunnel[21526]: stunnel 4.04 on i686-pc-linux-gnu PTHREAD+LIBWRAP with OpenSSL 0.9.7a$
Mar 19 00:26:55 bhnoc stunnel[21527]: Connection reset: 149 bytes sent to SSL, 476 bytes sent to socket
Mar 19 00:28:25 bhnoc stunnel[21527]: cpanelhttps connected from 200.232.157.54:4065

Here is the question:

How can i downgrade the openSSL version?
Anyone pass trough this before?

It seens to me that is a bug in the cpanel trough the new OpenSLL, does anyone know how to fix that?

Hi,

The problem depends on the version of "Stunnel". Replace the new version with old one. For downgrading OpenSSL, try to download the source you need and compile it.

How can i view/know the version of my stunel?

BTW, i setup the update of cpanel to the edge, and come back to release, but this does not work to.

About SLL, i try to downgrade but RPM says that openssl-devel and anothers depends on.

I realy dont no what to do.

Thanks!
