    >> Block Popups Using Frames

    Hello People

Well, I'm trying to block popups that are generated from the lower frame in a page that has top and bottom frames. the top one is my page and the bottom is some external page that usually has some kind of popup...

any help would be greatly appreciated.

My gut feeling is that there is no way to do this. A frame is its own page instance. Unless you can control the page and add some pieces to the javascript that let you shut it off there is no way for you to control it.

Get the google toolbar or use Mozilla FireFox browser. They both block popups.

of course this will not help others that view your page and do not have a anti popup feature.

dunno if you have ever used Cashits.com (which is currently down) but they claim to have it on their surfbar page, it blocks all kinds of popups, auto-installers, etc.
