I've been with Ethr.net LLC for around 6 months now, so thought I'd give them a writeup.
Uptime has never really been an issue with them, the only downtime experienced so far was when they had issues with CPanel after we requested a re-installation. But we were creditted for it, and they made certain no mission-critical sites were being kept offline. Servers are reliable, and access to the APC switch means that any problems with the server that can be corrected on a restart are easy to resolve.
Although not 24/7, but pretty much as near as! I have yet to wait more than an hour for Jay to get back to me, and they have emergency pagers if its really desperate.
Jay is always really obliging, and will go the full distance to make sure I'm happy. He doesn't mind how many times he has to repeat certain information (before it gets through my thick skull!)
Quality of service has always been good with Ethr.net, LLC. We shall continue to use them long into the future, and would recommend ANYONE to speak to them. They aren't your typical $99 / month guys, but its definitely worth the extra money spent.

I love when people post good, lengthy, quality reviews, other than "my host rocks" or "managed.com sucks" . I've heard great things about Jay and Ethr.net from people here on the boards. Thanks for the review.
cybexhost1, even if you only have 1/100th of the customer relations skills that Jay has, your customers will be VERY happy!
There were actually some minor network problems earlier due to a DoS attack, but Jay told me about it even before I'd realised, and within about 20 minutes of him informing me, the problem was fixed and everything was back to normal. Now THAT is a provider!
Today was terrible for us. Some pathetic kid decided to send DDos to us. It caused us a major intermittence outage. We took alot of the XO Fremont DC with us as well as a part of XO's SF Bay Network until XO's NOC finally figured out there's a major problem and decided to responded to our ticket. Now, we're running smooth again. We would be issuing credit to all customer for the outage. God Bless.
Just received my refund for last month's outage. 10% Which is a very nice figure considering the short period of outage experienced. Once again, a superb company, with even better staff!
They're not WHT cheap, but they're well worth the extra few £££!
