Question

Are there any host's who let people partner with them in return for hosting free. As I want some one to host a site which will use vBulletin and insert there site logo/banner with link at the bottom. and also host links 2.0 which will become database of tvlinks. this would incude 2 domains!

Any one thanks.

Just a general tip...
From personal experience and of other hosts and clients, partnership is never really good for anyone.

The host generally doesn't get new customers or very little... and the client doesn't get a good service because he is not paying.

Even though I think that I offer a same level of quality hosting to anyone, if someone on a free accoutn complain too much or go over usage, I will be much quicker to react and solve the problem... which may men suspend the site or whatever.

You should definately go for a pay hosting, it is worth it.

Luqman,

Not many paid hosts will do so, for whatever business reasons they have. The only example I can think of is Thinkhost http://www.thinkhost.com (A-hem - no derisive comments please! *glare*), who offers free hosting to web development sites in return for links and ad squares.

I think you just might be better off paying for a host, then using ZoneEdit.com to handle your two domains. That's usually the best way around it.

Lugman, I think you're going to have a more difficult time finding someone willing to give you hosting when the sites aren't developed. If they were, then at least you'd have something to bargin with. Doesn't hostrocket have a reseller plan of some sort? If so, maybe you could sign up for it and give yourself two discounted accounts?

Absolutely untargeted banner advertising is nearly useless to a business. Targeted banner ads are bad enough...
