Hey all. I've done a search but couldn't come up with anything regarding my issue so I thought I'd post here and see what responses I can get before I try manually downloading and uploading the old fashion way (ftp).
I'm trying to move a ~4 GB account from one server to another. Both are running CPanel and I've already ran /scripts/pkgacct on said account. The problem is that whatever method I try to do -- whether it's using scp, wget, or just downloading the file, it never seems to be able to locate the file. I can see it using "dir" via SSH, but it doesn't show up on my FTP after I move it to one of the public_html's for a folder.
I've already tried chowning and chmodding it, but I can't seem to figure out what's wrong. If it matters, the file name shows up as red rather than white in my SSH.
My question is: what's the reason the file isn't showing up anywhere except in my SSH's "dir" command? and if there's anyway to rectify the problem.
I've tried that, but I get stuck at the wget (or scp for that matter) step. The error I get in return is file or directory not found. Which is odd because I can see the file using the "dir" command in SSH, however I cannot see the file when I log into my ftp and look at the public_html (where I moved the file to). And yes, I did try chmodding to 644. And when I attempt to access the file via http with my browser, I get a Forbidden page in return.
Any ideas on what I can do to make it show up/accessible?
Yes, the file is under username.username (I've tried chowning it before). However, when accessing it via a browser, I still receive a forbidden page. When attempting to wget it, I get a forbidden error. When attempting to scp it, I get a "No such file or directory" error.
I've also already tried re-"/scripts/pkgacct"-ing the file, yet I am still receiving the same forbidden or cannot find error despite the file actually being there according to SSH.
