    Gotta admit, I'm curious as to what is keeing him from being able to SSH into his machine.

    Have been keeping you bookmarked so that in the future if I need your services I can easily find you. Would like to know for a fact this was user error, and not something your company did.

    Sounds like a deal gone really, really bad.

    eXecution, suggest you contact your DC to reset 'root' PW and gain access.

    FSM, if you have locked out the Server owner you are legally responsible for anything that happens to the Server during that time. It is not up to the Server owner to contact you to gain access to their own Server. You never lock out the Server owner, you communicate with them. If it becomes a worst case scenerio then you divest yourself of Server access and legal responsibilities. Not sure what you did or why, but it does seem to have blown up in a bad way for you.


    Although we may never know all the details, my own experience in ServerAdmin has shown that by asking first what has to be done before touching the Server, and making sure everyone is in agreement, saves a lot of problems. Doing ServerAdmin work on a regular basis requires excellent communications skills and at all times, an understanding of who is doing what and responsible for what.

    FSM is grrrrrrrreat! I have them managing 15 servers of mine and I can't thank them enough.

    I've looked at the compeition, nobody even comes close.

    FSM is a company, a solid company, we've been with them for about 2 years and they have never let us down.

    the reason they support cpanel is because they have experienced server adminitrators who know cpanel, if they don't have experience with another panel it would be better for them not to support it so that they dont run into problems in the logn run...
