    bad .... very bad.

When I was there, they were very very reliable and the support was very good, however, this last few weeks they have enjoyed hours and hours of downtime. Id stay away now.

Prices mean little when you are incurring downtime. As was said before use the search feature thats what it's there for.

Forget the search feature, just looking at the threads on the first and second page of the outages forum is enough to put you off

But if they happened again, then as we have seen, they have no form of backup at all, so you would be stuck. Many people have left them because of this. Id personally go with someone like Server Matrix instead of risking Nocster.

Im not sure where you thought that one up.... I know I would not be happy if I was the customer of a company with servers there.

Well I had nocster server more than 8 months had few downtime but other than that price is perfect, cpanel and upgrades are cheaper than anywhere else. I dunno I am definitly satisfied for webhost, actually last outages pissed me off but still not canceling.I wish I could put a gameserver up too but unplayable.

I have been using Burst/Nocster for more than 2 years now and would not hesitate to recommend them. They have had their downtimes, but overall, they wonderful and their support is also great.

I cannot believe some of you guys admit "yeah they have alot of downtime" but still recommend them!

Downtime is not something you look for in a host!

10 seconds a month is NOT acceptable.....

At least you don't have too many choices with that critera. Not to mention, you wouldn't be searching at centers in Nocster's price range. . . .
There is no best host. There is only the host that's best for you.

True to a point. There are several other options in that price range that don't make the "Server is down again" threads every two days..

I have just moved all of my business away from Nocster. They might be a decent service for a personal website or blog, but you could not do much worse finding a place for your business.

Nocster has frequent downtime/packetloss that is never their fault.

Their data centre is located 130 miles from their bandwidth connections, and every single byte coming in or out of their DC goes through ONE little fibre optic line. They thought this "transport link" was redundant but turns out it wasn't. Oops.

Their CEO posts on WHT to ridicule anyone who posts honest messages like this one. (real professional).

Their billing department in my experience is ridiculously hard to contact or get straight answers from.

When they had their recent multi-day meltdown the CEO came out on WHT and complained that the account transfer features in cPanel were helping their clients leave and that it was innappropriate. Their routers began blocking the cPanel license server at that exact same time. How odd.

On the other hand, their tech support is excellent and fast.
