    393 from The Planet

    4 from Managed

Neither of those are our IP's, though we are in the ServerMatrix DC, and very happy to be there. Let me know if you have any specific questions. Happy to help.

    I am in Washington state.

The first one maxed my cable internet at 233kb (that's my max via speedtest right now.

The second was 4.88 KB and according to the box up right now it will take 23 minutes to dl, so I am cancelling it. LOL

This is a little more drastic then the results I used to get when I had a managed server, but the results are not suprising to me.

Maxes my cable at 500 KB/s for the first link, never hit about 20 KB/s for the second.

Managed.com's whole data center is not doing well right now, except for certain parts of the country and certain ISP's. I have a friend living in Wisconsin that reports 200+ kb/sec, and I'm lucky if a page loads in less then 5 minutes.

Right now I'm waiting for a phpMyAdmin page to load... It's been 23 minutes and I'm still waiting for it to finish

    Don't believe me?

I guess I am still lost as to why you mentioned SB-Host in the subject?

Yes, but some of our IPs are on 10Mbps, some are on 100Mbps ports, depending on the needs and server use.
Either way, niether of those are ours. We do have a test file at:
    http://www.sb-host.com/test.zip (on a 10Mbps port)
But we do not always keep it available.

PLEASE tell me that's a joke. That is really unfair on Glenn/SB-Host. If you want a 10mb test file from SB-Hosts' servers, then I'm sure Glenn will sort something out. Until then, SB-Host has nothing to do with this thread. You have made the title inaccurate and misleading to everyone.

    EDIT: Speaking of which...

EDIT 2: Jeez, did I really take 5 minutes to write that small paragraph?
Downloaded test.zip @ 72kb/sec (max for my connection)
