    Exclamation SSL Question

What is an ssl certificate? What do I need it for? If I get it can I run cpanel? Is it needed for modernbill/cpanel ?

    Hi Shredder -

SSL is an secure socket layer - It allows you to collect personal information under 128 bit encryption.

You would need it any time you are trying to collect payment on the internet and/or asking customers to input personal information (ie credit card #'s)

    Hope this helps...

You might want to try a few 30 day trial ones from different vendors to see which you prefer.

I used the ones from which worked fine.
