Hi,
I'm looking for good cheap dedicated servers within the $50 to $100 a month bracket, that's exluding bandwidth (well hey, if bandwidth is included then great!)
I'd prefer linux machines, not cobalt.
Company reputation and outstanding service a must.
Oh yes, 24/7 monitoring with live people that I can phone.
Please, I've done host index searches, web searches and the works...

and no... I'm not dreaming... I know there is someone out there.
(sorry for the spelling mistake "exluding" should be "excluding")

Do a search on the forum - you'll find a few hosts offering $99.00/month dedicated servers.
Don't expect to get too much for your money, however....

I hope this isnt considered spam, I just wish to address the question about what you get for 99.00.
Our 99.00 dedicated server is only available to Webhosting Talk members. For 99.00/month you get:
500mhz Pentium Processor
32mb ram
10gig Hard Drive
10gig's Transfer
1 Ip address
Please also note that we are combining all of our sites into a one site network which will be completed at the beginning of next week. We will be announcing the new site and asking for recomendations at the beginning of next week.

Clarifications are ok Charles (the CDS is strict, but tries not to be unreasonable).

To get into the CDS :
1. You'll have to be a God(dess) first.
2. Bug Matt all the time and hope he gives you a position.
3. Once accepted, you enter an intensive 6-week course on how to fry hosts. See http://www.wokadoo.com/horrormovie.jpg You'll also be required to be knowledgeable in the use of and flamethrow
4. Above all, you must have been an in the times you've been here on the board.

ThanX!
If any dedicated hosts are reading this, email me your offers: dylan@hypnotism.nu
So far I found two good offers, one from "digitalrackspace.com" and the other from "netinfra.com"
cheapservers: okay, I'll join (register with) webhostingtalk and consider your offer.
The one thing that doesn't attract me is the servers 32mb ram. I definitely need more than that: 128ram pref, 64mb min

Me again!
How about cobaltracks? (although I don't want cobalts)
At the moment I am with whhq. They also have good offers but ouch they give me so many headaches.
Hey check this out: http://powerraq.com (without the www)
They have very very cheap cobalt servers but hell, you'll die when you see how much bandwidth is (it's like gold).

I think you'll find a few threads about both cobaltracks and whhq if you use the search function (top right).

Yes, we try to maintain very good deals in fact we look around and maintain the lowest in the industry. We advise you to go look around and find someone cheaper and we will be happy to beat their price. The one thing you should watch out for is price, most of the time when you see servers advertised at a low price your going to get generic components in those systems which are prone to failure. We do not use a single generic component, all of our hardware is top of the line name brand.
Enough of this shameless promoting
I think i hear a clucking sound outside my door...
This will be my last post on this subject for additional questions feel free to email me.
