    Refferers

    I have a question.

    lets say I have a page (A), and iframe on that page (B) and a another page (C)

    lets say I put an iframe on C that opens A
    will the refferer of B be A or C

    <brain explodes>

    I'm pretty sure the referrer is the page the link is on.

    My guess would be A. If the browser is written in the most logical format it would essentially treat the iframe as a new window. Of course... are there any browsers written in the most logical format? I would set up a test instance of what you're looking for and have (B) be the following php.

    PHP Code:
    <?php

    echo 'You came from '.$_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER'];

    ?>
