colo is san luis obispo area?


i live in atascadero and im guessing slo (san luis obispo) has something of a colo or data center. i am looking to host a mid tower with large HD space for a new shareware site i am going to put up. so bw is going to be alot, thats why im looking for CHEAP.

if anyone knows anything post please thanks

ALot of Bandwidth + small town colo = major $$$... You're better off going into a bigger city colo.

I'm in Santa Barbara and colo in town is 4 times the cost of what it is in LA.

There are alot of quality DC's in SF or San Jose area.

Either up or down. You're equidistant from LA and SJ.

I would go north to SF or SJ. There seems to be a little better quality up there. I'm in LA and tried forever to find a decent DC. I found a few 'ok' DC's but Northern Cali seems to be a better mix.
