I am always looking for ways to improve my business and one way of continuously improving is to learn from your mistakes.
During the past year I learned the value of having servers distributed across multiple datacenters in the event one goes down. So now I have servers with EV1 ande Nocster. I also decided to focus on volume versus margin in the web design space. The transition from unique designs for clients to selling prepackaged bundles of work has really made a significant difference.
Ahh, that is a good one with CPanel... I made that same mistake. I can see how the backups in another datacenter would be a good idea. I had not thought of that. I have been content with a simple index.htm page explaining that the server is being worked on at the momment.
