Affirmative! Down from Calgary. Also dead from both Telus and Sprint Canada route servers.

EDIT: 4.23pm PST: Now back, but going a very strange route indeed. From Calgary (west coast), going to Chicago then New York via Cable & Wireless, then back onto Abovenet to San Jose. ?

EDIT2: 4.25pm PST: And down again.

Were they not supposed to be installing a new XO line today?

Just look at those BGP tables... completely devoid of all managed.com IP addresses. *sigh*.

Well they had downtime earlier today and we told that that down time was caused by the XO installation, but twice?

I didn't see any real evidence of the XO line, so maybe it wasn't a success the first time around.

Did anyone actually ever receive notification from managed that they were installing the line and that there was going to be downtime?

Back again, but going around the houses - this time zipping through Chicago and Washington via Level3 before getting Abovenet.. ! Are they trying to make me dizzy ?

Still lots of strange routing going on, although I can just about get to my server after hopping around North America.

Looks like they are working their way through the "how to implement BGP in 10 easy to follow steps" training manual.
