eNom's e-mail forwarding service - reliable?
It appears every domain registered through eNom or one of its resellers has e-mail forwarding service included. There were issues with their e-mail forwarding in the past (severely delayed or unreceived e-mails). How is it now?
I would say it is not that reliable. There have been noticeable delays in getting emails(up to 4 hours).
... and even a member of their support staff told me I should use their email services (including email forwarding) at my own risk.
But then, in the same response, he says they're trying to improve those services.
works as charm with me
although sometimes even paid email service doesn't work, thats everywhere.
we dont use it but a couple of customers did, and delays of 4hours+ were common.
i know of hosts who offer it as a "feature" when they sell domain and they get a *lot* of complaints on the days it's running behind or failing
i think as with most *free* stuff its worth exactly what you pay for it
How about their paid add-on "Email Pak" service? Does it experience the same 4+ hour delays as the e-mail forwarding service?
never got customers complaining about it, eventhough i only have 2 customers using it.
it seems they are happy with it.
