fine here on both cable and SDSL connections. The cable does not use a proxy server.

    Tracert shows Layer42 though

Going via layer42 from every route server I tested. Rumour has it that they are adding XO to their mix this afternoon, so it's probably related.

EDIT: down completely @ 1.11pm PST

my box is fine but its routing via Layer42 line atm. I expect they are BGP'ing the XO and AboveNET lines.

maybe it has something to do with the fact that the Layer42 line is their backup line???

Looks like their network has disappeared from some BGP tables again, at least for Sprint and Telus in Canada.

    route-views.ab>show ip bgp 66.79.160.10
    % Network not in table

It is down most likely due to the installation of the New gigE line from XO. I was told yesterday they had plans to install it today.

    Hello,

I believe it is network problem. Because I cannot access managed.com, my server, hotmail.com, msn.com, mediapost.com, etc. Of course I can hook-up on net.

They really need some forums, or a network status page. Also, I'd reccomend Perlbill too

    tomsyer,
Maybe they would listen to you since you are one of their bigger customers. Maybe contact them and request an OFFSITE Network status page maybe like to a ev1 box or
    something on a peer1 network?
Something like netstatus.managed.com of when they will be performing work etc.
It would be really nice to have

We run http://serverstatus.biz via an ev1 box and it is powered by a SM windows server. We will add a Managed.com Part on the main page that will monitor their network setup, so everyone has a place to look if they need to.

Anyways, servers are back for me as well.
