    please be aware that there is a slight error above

    100% Global Bandwidth for £25 per mb

    should read

    100% Global Bandwidth for £25 per mbit

    sorry about the confusion

    Hello,

    Do you have an ip?
    What is the global bandwidth? Global crossing? Or a mix (what is the mix)?

    What is your company name and website? 24x7 Phone?

    Thank you!

    Interestingly enough I don't belive "Enspire" is a word (try "inspire" for future reference)

    And if you take the word "crew" for it's literal meaning you will find that instead of being a typical London/NY slang term for gang members you will find it actually means "A group of people working together".

    I would much prefer to purchase from "A group of people working together" than a muddled bunch of under-educated teenagers any day.

    Mocking aside, nice offer npeplow.

    thanks for your comments guys,

    we refer to ourselves as a "crew" as we are a team, and we think it sounds a little more modern. not becase we stand outside redbus mugging people of their servers

    hopefully I can clear up some questions in this post...

    IP to test = 193.23.224.3

    Bandwidth = Pure Global Crossing

    Phone Support = at the prices we offer its not economical, we prefer to use our helpdesk system as it allows us to get on with fixing it, instead of having to answer the phone and deal with a bitching customer who has forgotten his password

    CPanel = £39 a month extra

    Mbit = i hope everyone is happy with this concept/term, it is possable to transfer 324 GB over it if it was used fully for a month. its £25 a mbit, so 2mbit = £50 = 2 * 324 etc. UK BW is very expensive, and by doing it this way you get a good deal

    if you have any questions i will be only to happy to answer them personally,

    regards,
    nick

    I think its a good deal, but you do need a better name

    I think finally the UK server industry has realized they cant continue to rip people off, as there have been a lot of cheaper offers lately. Its all better for us hosts though hehe

    the prices that places like redbus charge are insane, and thats before you have added the cost of bandwidth!

    its only a server rack, not a 5 star hotel (ok, so perhaps it is for the server)

    Bandwidth = Pure Global Crossing
    traceroute seems to imply KPN Eurorings, not Global Crossing?

    so for this with 300 gig traffic

    ::celeron package::
    Brand new dell poweredge server!
    Intel® Celeron® processor 2.0GHz with 128K enhanced cache
    256MB DDR SDRAM (1*256MB 266MHz DIMMs)
    120GB 7200rpm IDE hard drive
    Your choice of OS

    £94 month

    is that correct?

    how many ip addresses?

  14. #14
    Your ripe objects sugest your bandwidth id provided by c4l and tsn, and as pointed out traceroutes dont show any evidence of gblx.

    Unsuprisingly your website shows a lot of 'imagination'.. such as this gem on the about us page "are connected to the internet with 13 gigabit connections" .. just you keep telling yourself that and one day you might start to believe it.

    That website looks exactly like every other wannabe host's website. Template?

    At least learn to link everything up, most of it doesn't work!

  16. #16
    I don't see whats wrong in using a template as a site. And the provider hasn't asked for comments on his website.

    hi!

    can i just clear some things up here.....

    "are connected to the internet with 13 gigabit connections" is for SHARED hosting on a dedicated in project imperial, it is quite clearly established in this thread that this is a offer for a dedicated server in redbus on global crossing bw

    Chrysalis you are correct, be aware that that excludes vat and setup

    First of id sugest you alter your "about us page" to reflect that your refering to one server somewhere, and the connectivity is the sum of all your upstream's..

    The site makes no refernce as to what that particular claim applies to, and its not a far fetched conlcusion if you actualy had 13gbit of external conectivity you might posibly be selling some of it.... ie this thread

    And as for you claims about it being "pure global crossing" bandwidth seem to hold as much weight as the rest of your bs..

    http://www.netlantis.org/wwwbin/grap...=as&as=as30967 shows quite clearly your main providers are kpn, tsn and c4l.. so that test ip certainly isnt on glbx bw..

    I would also like details of exactly what awards your website has won to meriit the following on your front page "To celebrate out award winning site redesign".. since when did they give out awards for using a template ?

    hi,

    for shared hosting we are using ev1 - at project imperial

    for line info see here
    http://www.ev1servers.net/english/aboutus/networks.asp

    "are connected to the internet with 13 gigabit connections" is meant to imply that there are 13, gigabit lines

    e.g.
    1 gigabit line * 13

    not one 13 gigabit line

    i will get back to you guys about the GC bw later, i need to do some investigation into this from my providors

    i would appreciate it if you could keep the flaming of my site to a minimum, i will get it changed as soon as possable. read the forum rules while you wait...

    regards,
    nick

    just to help you clear this up, you use bandwidth (possibly other services) from infinity-hosting, who get their bandwidth primarily from KPN Eurorings. I know they take their KPN over fiber, and you most likely take bandwidth from them at 100mb Fast Ethernet? thus you have a 100mbit connect to KPN via Infinity.
    Infinity are a really great company so I dont see why you didnt just say the above in the first place.

    I think when you said global crossing you probably were repeating something sam had said but maybe crossed wires over "global crossing" and "global transit". The transit is global not partial.

    Hopefully that helps, and this is all of course just my own opinion and I have not achieved godlyness yet so could be wrong ;-)
