Question

I've been playing around with InstaBill in order to accept payments for goods/services (non hosting related). My test transactions seem to fail because they cannot verify the card's address (presumably because I'm non-US).

Does anyone use InstaBill and have trouble accepting payments from non-US customers?

Also, has anyone successfully automated the response from them, as at present they just redirect to a URL, without any status codes as to whether the transaction was successful (unless you read the referrer, but that depends on browser!)

My Instabill Account was activated last week. Remember they must activate your account *MANUALLY* (they check your commercial website, your prices and all) otherwise it's only "a demo". It was activated in 6 hours and this looks very professional for me.

Inkws, I have the same problem, they claim they can process VISA/MC/AMEX cards from all around the world but I think there is a problem with their AVS (address verification system) and all payments from foreign countries (Europe, Russia, Japan, etc) fail. Perhaps it's "too strict".

Anyway it works very well for USA and Canada CC's.

Thumbs up

Revecom is what we use right now and I think it is the best I have seen. I have not had any problems accepting orders as of yet.

HX, my experience with the AVS has been that it is too strict. *One* little mistake in typing it in kills the transaction. Which is good and bad, but I had a client who tried 4 times and in the end I had to send an email to head off a "N". If you get an order notification and then see it has an "N" it will be declined. Send customer service an email with the transaction #, telling them you *know* the order is legit. and if they can head off a denial. Worked for me.

I tried, contacting these guys, by every way listed on there site, phone, email, chat, snail mail, you name it. But got NO response from them. Have you contacted there support or sales team ever?

Also, what are there charges? Coz I signed up, and got an email with totally different prices listed in it. How much did you pay for there service?

I have contacted them via email, and got a reply within a day. Otherwise I have had no problems with them. As for the charges, I paid what it said on there site. I believe it was a $49 setup fee. I am in the process of seting up my other site with Revecom also.

NO PROBLEMS

I have used instabill for many transactions, including international (ie outside us) and they all worked fine.
