    Thumbs up

    Hi,
    You can do this by,
    #service mysqld restart
    or
    #/etc/rc.d/init.d/mysqld restart

    Regards,

    I tried both
The first says: mysqld: unrecognized service
The second says: -bash: /etc/rc.d/init.d/mysqld: No such file or directory

What else should I try? I could restart it within WHM; but I want to have a way to work within Shell

    Try:
    service mysql restart
    OR
    /etc/rc.d/init.d/mysql restart
