guy opens a hosting company - hilarity ensues

quoted verbatim, albeit snipped, from a post in the employment forum:

duh! i was pondering ways of cutting costs, but the not paying employees idea totally skipped my mind. thank you!

in other news, since he is not sure how good his dedicated server is, he does not pay his provider money either. meanwhile, his 'employees' moved out of their apartments, reclaimed the trees their ancestors once inhabited and continue subsisting on a diet rich in bananas, thoughtfully provided by the customers the hungry techs begged for food while providing support.

Now why didn't I think of that?????

Geez I could cut my prices, get twice as many customers so my unpaid employees can work harder for nothing.

What a great business plan.

Actually this is stupid. If they are so despearate they should pay me. In fact I just need to find staff that want to pay me to work for them and then I don't even need customers

Some of that hosts posts are awsome!

heh... if this were a fark headline, it could also read:

Webhost doesn't pay its employees. Your dog wants food stamps

or

Webhost creates new business model by not paying its employees. Here comes the science...

as well...

I think I figured out how to utilize this new science. You sign up to work their Sales for no money and they give you a Reseller account. Then you populate your new Reseller account with their sales...

Greetings:

I loved the part where the owner stated something to the effect that "most hosting companies" do not pay wages.

Sigh.

Thank you.
