Yea, but im talking about the standard size. I tried 3.5 x 2 inches and it seems smaller than the card printing paper i bought. Im using adobe photoshop. Should i be using a certain resolution? Its on 72 right now.

    Business card template

    Hostfreak,

I would check with the company you are going to have the cards printed with. Many have differing formats and requirements for size and color. Most should work with Photoshop files. I found a guide at vista print and they have a nice template and guide to creating custom designs for your cards. This may only be specific to them, I am not sure. Vista Print uses CYMK for color and 300 dpi for the resolution. Here's the link http://www.vistaprint.com/vp/ns/cust...ork_specs.aspx . Creating the document at 300 dpi will make the demensions for your art work with the bleed at 1063 x 614 pixels. Document cut size is 1028 x 579 pixels. You create the artwork at these demensions and they take it from there. They have a PS template available for download on that page.
