Valuation of a domain - what your input!
hi -
I registered a domain a short while back just because I found it strange that no one else had. Don't really have much use for it so i was mentioning it to some designer friends. They freaked out when they heard what it was and told me I could make quite a bit of $$ off it if I decided to sell. I've looked at some online services that are supposed to value domains but they all look like scams to me and I have a feeling they just tell you what you want to hear.
So what do you think the value of f**k-films.com is? How would I go about selling it safely if someone made me a magic offer??

Yeah - that's why I'm staying away from them. Just need a consensus of opinion as to the value of this domain. Any thoughts??

I can't help you since I do not get involved with domains that have anything to do with p**n.

well, you got a lucky hit thats for sure, it sounds like a good domain but dont be fooled into thinking domain names are worth an extream amount auction companys hype it all up... You could probably get $500 or more for it but could be way more.

Well, it has more market value because it is a .com (if it would had been any other TLD or other then it would be only worth the purchase price - if you bought it somewhere cheap!) but unfortunately the hyphen lowers its market value to some extent. But if you really want to sell it, you could get around $400-$800 for it depending on your choice of auction site and finding the right buyer.
The porn industry has some V. rich people in it who are able to pay more for something which may be useful to them.
Good Luck.
