    Is this connection fast?

We have been customers of our current colocation provider for the past 18 month. Minimal downtime so we are very happy.

However we are looking to improve what we offer to our customer so could you tell me if our connection is fast enough?

Ping 195.188.22.39 and let us know what you all think.

    thanks

I would argue that if your customers aren't complaining about speeds then why change? Uptime is more important than throughput IMHO (to a degree)

better off testing with a file download than a ping

ping is response time, not the actual speed.

put a download on the site, then get someone else with a fast connection to download it and see how fast it goes

People can't determine how good your connection speed is by just pinging / tracerouting your host.

As someone else said, put up a test file for us to download.

LOL! You have to admit that it's sort of cute that he offered a 25K file.
