Setting up an internet radio broadcast on a webserver...

Does anyone know how to set up a radio broadcast thing (I assume it would be through Winamp) on a webserver so that visitors can tune in to it?

PLEASE e-mail me ([email protected]) or IM me: Umpakati if you know how and what you'd like in return.

    Thanks,

    -Phil

http://www.shoutcast.com/ is the best audio streaming server with Winamp and very user-friendly. give it a try.

I have seen those two links before, but I have my own host and those don't really explain to me what I need to do.

So, ilyash, it really wasn't a "dumb" question and I DID try Google.

Either way, download the shoutcast server, and edit the config file. www.shoutcast.com

if you host is linux then download sc_trans, this is used to source the shoutcast server.

also edit the config files for sc_trans

once u have done that, its all complete

if u need help let me know
