    Where to find server software?

Is there one (1) site where can I find all the latest releases of the most popular server software?
    Thank you,
    ML

    Define "server software".

    I meant software like:

    MySQL
    PHP
    Pearl
    Sendmail
    etc...

I am thinking of geting a RedHat box and would like to know of a site where I can find software for it without going to all the different sites.
    Thank you,
    ML

    Hello.

Most of the above can be installed when your installing Redhat.

It would not take long to go to the different sites, and it would make sure you have the most up to date software (security!)

Another option is Debian. Their package management system, apt-get, is excellent. Also easy to keep up with security updates.

Example to install a piece of software you type "apt-get install apache". Updates are as simple.

Use FreeBSD and install the rest of your software using ports. All the most commom applications are ported and very easy to isntall.

I believe he/she wants a software release site. You'll probably want to take a look at Freshmeat: http://freshmeat.net/
